How we help
What this service looks like at home
Physiotherapy works best when it happens consistently, in the environment a senior actually moves through every day. Travel to a clinic is exhausting after a hip replacement or a stroke, and missed sessions slow recovery. Our physiotherapists — qualified BPT/MPT professionals — come to your home with the equipment a session needs (TENS, ultrasound, IFT, exercise bands, balance aids), assess the senior on day one, and build a measurable program: where they are now, where they need to be in four weeks, and what the family can practice between visits. We support orthopaedic rehabilitation after joint replacement and fracture, post-stroke and neuro recovery, paralysis care, chronic joint and back pain, and falls-prevention training for elders who have had a recent fall. Most plans run eight to twelve sessions of 45–60 minutes; you don't need a doctor's referral, though a recent report helps us tailor the plan. Progress is shared in writing with you and, if you want, with your treating consultant.
